Fuck, I just need to get this off my chest because honestly I’m tired of reading about people “justifying” Tiberius or whatever it is you think some of us are doing. I don’t think anyone here justifies what he did, but are we not allowed to still like the complex and brilliantly-acted character? Huh? Because I sure as hell still love Tiberius and if he has his way with a thousand slaves I doubt it will make me love him any less, it’s not like it’s OOC or something, especially after he was forced to take part in killing his closest friend or possible lover. He tried to live up to his father’s expectations and that’s what he got, I doubt he can or wants to think straight at the moment.
We knew he was a spoiled brat right away, so honestly I don’t get where all the “he saw Kore as a property” crap is coming from. Like the very second he appeared on the show he stated his thoughts on the matter, those thoughts pretty much being “the Romans are above slaves”. What made you think he would treat Kore or any other slave differently? Yes, he thinks he’s better. Yes, he’s a damaged child/man. But honestly, stop calling those who love almost every character on Spartacus, no matter good or bad, inhuman or something.
You can unfollow me or do whatever the hell you want now, bye.

“There are many things given to us in this life for the wrong reasons. What we do with such blessings, that is the true test of a man.”
“I have done a terrible thing.” “We do what we must in this house.”
Seriously, everybody dies in this show. Everybody.
